Wilmington

The City of Wilmington has imposed a permanent moratorium on all new private memorials on city-owned land. Our efforts to develop the Wilmington site are suspended while we work on other options and the Brunswick Town site.

 

The proposed memorial to Scottish Immigration was to be situated on Wilmington’s Riverwalk near Muters Alley near where ships carrying many of North Carolina’s earliest Scottish settlers docked. We hope to be able to find another option in the vicinity.
